Elite Speed University LLC was founded by Michael Cochran, a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and former Division I middle-distance athlete from St. Louis. Coach Mike has guided multiple athletes to national championship appearances and medal finishes. His goal is to build a collaborative middle-distance hub in the region, highlighting the Midwest’s talent in the 400m, 800m, and 1600m.
