Elite Speed University LLC was founded by Michael Cochran, a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and former Division I middle-distance athlete from St. Louis. Coach Mike has guided multiple athletes to national championship appearances and medal finishes. His goal is to build a collaborative distance track club in the St. Louis, Missouri region, highlighting the Midwest’s talents in both middle and long distance running events.
His vision is to one day unite coaches form across the area to come together, network, and potentially formulate a unified distance program that truly ensembles the power of coming together for a greater cause so that we may be able to showcase what our athletes can do on a collective team where coaches are paid and athletes can perform at the highest possible level.
